What We Do

Our goals for 2012 include taking steps to establish an on-the-ground bird conservation project, complete a "Lights Out" during bird migration outreach project, and share the newly completed All-Bird Conservation Plan for Ohio. The Plan will assist OBCI partners interested in developing new conservation projects.

How You Can Help

Is your group already a member of OBCI? Would you like to represent your organization on a committee? We encourage new member organizations to join OBCI! If you are a concerned citizen, learn about our projects through our mailing list and through our committee pages.

Volunteers Needed!

OBCI and its partners need help with the monitoring program for the Lights Out Columbus Campaign. Volunteers are needed to assist with surveys for bird collisions with buildings in downtown Columbus starting mid-March. If you're interested, review this flyer, or contact the coordinator.
